So. I saw this astonishing carpet of the most beautiful color spread out in front of me. I wanted to photograph it, and the only way to do it was to climb a childrens slide, stand on the platform on top and take this shot.
That’s exactly what I did, except instead of climbing down the ladder after the shot, I slid down the slide and landed unceremoniously in a heap of flailing hands and hair! It was so worth it! As I dusted myself and looked around surreptitiously to see if I had an audience, I was relieved to find myself quite alone ☺️
I proceeded for my art class clutching this fun and valuable memory of something I hadn’t done in years🌼🎶 The first person I met, giggled and said, “That looked like fun… I was watching you from the window!”
Above the garbage collection centre sit a group of labourers playing cards. Their location is unique and way above the madding crowd, while being under the umbrella shade of a flourishing tree. 🙂
Nothing like letting nature teach us the biggest lessons in life in its own quiet way.
Season inevitably change… Nothing stays forever… Fresh growth is a necessity for survival… Let go of that which has done its time…
This gorgeous tree seems to have been specially designed to provide maximum shade while taking minimum space 🙂
The gorgeous ‘Laburnum’ or the equally exotically named ‘Amaltas’ is in full bloom these days. Standing under a fully blooming tree coats the body with a gorgeous sunlit glow that bounces off our dark Indian hair in flashes of light!
An amazing, captivating, intoxicating sight….Just lean back against the smooth bark, raise your head towards the millions of hanging blooms and click a shot in your minds eye for posterity 🙂
A chubby little baby snuggles as though still in the mothers womb. The mother and extended family sell flowers nearby and this little one calmly watches through the gauzy fabric….
