In the peace of the early morning hour, I realise that heaven is a place on earth.
I chance upon it accidentally…like rays through morning mist. I see it in the first effort of a bud to bloom, when it releases a perfectly formed petal from its tight embrace as if to test the world that it is going to inhabit.
It is in sudden patterns that form. Connecting random dots into a semblance of coherence. It is in these chance encounters that conviction dissipates confusion… like the fine mist that the sun lifts from the face of the earth, revealing new definitions of how heaven is just something we take as ordinary in the guise of the extraordinary….

Amidst a beautiful silence, the drama of a mint fresh day unfolds…it is no doubt one of the Greatest Shows on Earth, the sheer scale, the fireworks and drama! Nature at her ostentatious best.
The ones who enjoy it the most seem to be the birds, squirrels and sundry other animals who are up at the crack of dawn to flex their wings and muscles to take the maiden outing of the day in absolute oneness with their environment!
Saw this yesterday .. A little kid with paint/polish on her face and made up to simulate the Goddess Kali in order to get more money from people.
Such scenes are becoming more common at traffic signals and the drama enacted there reaches new lows.
‘Rozgaar’ in Urdu means livelihood. A rose seller outside my car window brings this word to my mind and i want to capture it instantly. Selling roses for a living is his rozgaar….the gorgeous color of the blooms helped with the photograph, No doubt!
The joy of hugging a beloved pet is second to none :)!
Seen on the Sidewalk…Roots clinging desperately to concrete and a terracotta prayer lamp sitting patiently, to root someones thoughts into prayer…
Staring out of the car window, one gets a glimpse of Everyday India.
The struggle to make a living is never more visible than on the streets of this ancient nation.
No matter what weather, the streets are always brimming with vendors selling new and unusual wares. Every road crossing has a colorful sight to offer.
