These ancient caves have idols dedicated to Lord Murugan. The natural formation of interesting limestone sculptures are breathtaking indeed!
One has to climb around 280 steps in order to reach the sanctum sanctoram. Every step is worth it:)
Adding to the delight of the excursion is the presence of countless, highly energetic monkeys, who leave you alone unless one is carrying food.. 🙂
I love imagining the family life of birds, especially Owls. Their plump cuddliness makes my imagination tingle and I make watercolor paintings to express my happiness sometimes. 🙂
‘The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And wither then? I cannot say..’
Pedong, West Bengal,
Very few things compare
to a walk in the rain,
on a road thats taking you home
after a busy day in school!
I was in the middle of a colourful painting, as I kept adding new colours, I kept picking up new brushes and when I looked at my hand, this is what I saw!! It was so hilarious and so true also that one does forget onesself when totally consumed by a thought or an action 🙂
